State Farm is one of the leading companies in the auto insurance industry. State Farm has been in business since 1922. They have millions of locations throughout the United States. State Farm insures many vehicles and drivers daily. You can go into one of the offices located worldwide or you may go online to www.statefarm.com.
One thing that State Farm has for auto insurers is many discounts. There is multiple vehicle, multiple line, new vehicle safety, accident free, anti-theft device, defensive driving, good driving, good student, driver training, and steer clear safe driver discount. They have many discounts to help save. So if you are a good driver then you can qualify for many of the discounts State Farm has to offer.
State Farm has very good coverage when it comes to auto insurance. They require the individual to choose a deductible. If anyone does not know what a deductible is it is out of pocket costs to the insurer. This comes into effect when you have an accident. You can choose a higher deductible and have a lower premium or a lower deductible and have a higher premium. With State Farm the auto insurance policy covers yourself, your spouse, relatives in your home, and any other liscensed drivers who have the permission to drive your vehicle.
The different coverages include liability. Liability is for if you injure someone or their vehicle in an accident. Liability also covers any court costs and pays legal defense if need be. Liability insurance is what some people choose to get if they do not want full coverage. You cannot choose liability insurance if you have a loan out on your vehicle.
Full coverage covers many different aspects in insurance. It covers what liability does plus personal injury protection, medical payments, collision, comprehensive, uninsured motorist, underinsured motorist, rental reimburement, and emergency road service. Therefore, many times it is worth it to pay the full coverage premium.
State Farm is the top company in the auto insurance industry today and offers the best discounts and premiums that you will find. They have been in business for many, many years and many more to come.

Discount double check? I would definitely double check before picking State Farm. My suggestion would be to go with a smaller local provider, such as Marchionne Insurance. A company like Marchionne can give you the one-on-one attention that you deserve and at more competitive rates. Just my two cents.
Despite having coverage with State Farm since 1974, they cancelled a policy on our most expensive car due to three unfortunate accidents occuring in rather short order: two of which were essentially fender benders. In addition to auto insurance, we have home and life policies with them. They will not budge on the policy, however..despite the fact that in general I am sure we have been an excellent source of revunue for them in the past decades. We both have very few ..and by that I mean my husband may have a couple and I have a couple..claims over four decades of doing business with them.. and now find ourselves wholly without recourse in this dropped policy. ..which seems to mean that we will not be able to get coverage through them at all on one of our vehicles. Herein lies the problem with big corporations.. Even when I explained we would pull all our policies with them, there seemed little concern. I am going with an independent agent.
Despite I have cars, houses and several life insurances with State Farm since 1978 and had never had 1 auto insurance claim. Now State Farm claimed that I was at 51% at fault of a recent unsafe back up that caused scratches to the other car. In reality, I had the right of way as I was making a 3-way-turn on a sul-de-sac street. I had never left the street the minute I drove in that street. The other car backed down from its driveway to the back of me, and immediate removed the car by sped it up to back the driveway. She also admitted to the claim investigator that she was no longer see my car on the street so she thought I had passed her house and went to the end of the street. She also had admitted to me right after the incident that she was in a hurry and she was late and she wanted to leave even without exchanging insurance info. Still State Farm determined to find fault at me even though they never said what I did was illegal and couple of times the claim processors including a Supervisor had stated that they DO NOT use traffic laws which police and government use to determine fault. Rather State Farm use its own laws (that was NOT published) to determin liabilities. Even though I had followed its process to request the reconsiderations 4 times, they did not reverse the verdict once it was made. I still not accept my likability and still fighting, yet, they had increased my upcoming premium by 73%. This is the worst Insurance company ever have.
