People who have never in lived in Massachusetts, are generally shocked,
when they first drive on Massachusetts roads and highways. Roads,
exits, highways and rotaries can be confusing. A really good test of a
Massachusetts driver's skill, is the highway signs. The driver is north
on interstate 95, but still going north on route 128??? Is the driver
going to Rhode Island or North of Boston???? Massachusetts has recently
updated most of their highway and road signs. Making it driver friendly
and less confusing.
Driving here in Massachusetts, is a daily challenge. Seasoned
Massachusetts drivers will tell you that they are the best drivers in
the nation. Try explaining that to a driver new to this area. The new
driver will tell you that Massachusetts drivers are crazy, forgetful
turn signal users and just plain rude. Given time, the new driver to
Massachusetts will eventually become the seasoned Massachusetts driver.
